Job Duties
- perform a combination of tasks to maintain hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner
- keep work area clean and neat, free from dust and litter
- load carts with supplies needed to perform duties
- clean all guest rooms as assigned within the required time limit
- change bed linens and make beds
- vacuum carpets and move furniture as needed to clean
- dust and clean all furniture including picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, armoires, desks
- clean mirrors, surfaces, windows, walls
- thoroughly clean bathroom areas including showers, tubs, sinks, floors, and toilets
- replace room amenities such as bathroom supplies, drinking glasses, and writing supplies
- empty wastebaskets
- ensure guest room setups comply with standards
- report any discrepancies in room status or why a room was not completed to inspectors
- turn in all lost and found items following standard procedures
- fill out assignment sheets as each room is completed
- ensure all equipment is in working order and supplies are adequate, reporting any issues
- perform other duties as assigned
- work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
