Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently or constantly
  • ability to stand for entire shift
  • effective verbal and written communication skills
  • friendly and courteous attitude
  • prior experience in hospitality or related field is preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner
  • basic knowledge of cleaning products and safety practices
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
  • complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen setup
  • remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
  • keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed
  • restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day use
  • replenish chemical bottles
  • report all missing items from rooms to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
  • report maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
  • handle items for Lost and Found according to standards
  • ensure overall guest satisfaction
