Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects
- ability to stand for the entire shift
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- friendly, courteous and service oriented manner
Job Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping or room attendant experience preferred
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- ability to follow safety and sanitation policies
- capable of working independently and within a team
- strong attention to detail
- basic proficiency in English for communication
- physical stamina to perform duties
Job Duties
- Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards
- complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen setup
- remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways
- keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed
- restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day use
- replenish chemical bottles
- report all missing items to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
- report maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
- handle lost and found items according to standards
- ensure overall guest satisfaction
