The role of a Guest Room Attendant is vital in maintaining the overall appearance and hygiene of the guest rooms, which directly impacts the guests' comfort and impression of the hotel. This position involves cleaning and maintaining guest room areas, including bathrooms and bedrooms, following strict company standards to provide a clean, tidy, and welcoming space for our guests. The Guest Room Attendant will also be responsible for organizing and stocking their cleaning cart and linen closets as assigned to ensure operational efficiency in daily tasks. Timely and accurate completion of housekeeping paperwork is required, alongside performing additional duties such as managing spills or fulfilling special guest requests. This position demands a high work ethic, self-initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work cooperatively within a team environment that prioritizes guest satisfaction. The employment type is full-time with varying schedules that may include nights, weekends, and holidays to meet hotel operational needs. Job Requirements

Ability to work in a standard office environment
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer 6-8 hours a day
Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday
Frequent fine motor skills use of hands and fingers for keyboarding typing utilizing a mouse or trackpad writing and operating office equipment
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Occasionally required to stand walk bend reach or carry items
Ability to lift and or move 10-25 pounds as needed e.g. files office supplies
Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation
Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings use phone and or headset

Job Duties

Clean and maintain the guest room areas including bathroom and bedroom according to company standards
Organize and stock cleaning cart and organize linen closets as assigned
Complete assigned paperwork in an accurate and timely fashion
Perform other duties as assigned such as cleaning spills or executing special guest requests
