Job Qualifications
- No formal education or training required
- basic knowledge of general cleaning principles
- experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred but not required
- ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions

Job Duties
- Retrieves items from shelves and storerooms
- sets up and maintains cleaning carts and storerooms
- cleans and wipes windows, doors, walls, closets, and fixtures
- washes shower walls, tubs, toilets, and sinks
- replaces towels, soaps, and room amenities
- washes hard floor areas by hand
- dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures
- strips and remakes beds with fresh linens
- lifts mattresses to check for soil
- checks closets and restocks supplies
- vacuums rooms and public areas
- inspects door and window locks
- inspects room equipment and reports deficiencies
- secures equipment, keys, and supplies
- maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor
- performs other duties as assigned
