This role is specifically for the Room Attendant at Choice Hotels, with managed properties including prestigious brands like Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson Red, Park Plaza, and Country Inn & Suites by Radisson. The Room Attendant plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe environment to ensure 100% guest satisfaction in alignment with brand standards. The position is hourly-paid at $18 per hour, aiming to deliver genuine hospitality experiences through diligent housekeeping practices. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented hoteliers who are passionate about maintaining high cleanliness standards and understand the significance of hospitality in building community and guest loyalty. They must possess strong communication skills, be socially adept, and enthusiastically embrace hotel operational excellence. Typical duties involve cleaning assigned rooms or suites by making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms while adhering to strict cleaning protocols and ensuring proper management of room amenities and linens. Additionally, this role requires proactive handling of guest requests, responding to complaints with empathy, and ensuring proper maintenance reporting.

The Room Attendant must embrace teamwork, demonstrate persistence in exceeding guest expectations, and uphold the Choice Hotels standards of service behavior. This includes closely monitoring guest satisfaction during housekeeping visits and taking personal responsibility to uphold the highest quality standards. The role demands physical stamina for activities like lifting, squatting, bending, and standing for long periods. Flexibility in scheduling, including working weekends and holidays, is essential to meet operational needs. Job Duties

  • Clean assigned guest rooms and suites including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms
  • Maintain cleaning protocols
  • Empty all trash containers and replace liners
  • Restock usable items such as soap, towels, amenities, and paper products
  • Remove and properly dispose of guest room trays, glass, and silverware
  • Clean and vacuum exterior entryways and hallways
  • Keep linen closets and supply areas clean and organized
