Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least one year of housekeeping or hospitality experience
- ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to pull or push up to 100 pounds
- ability to squat, bend, kneel and twist
- ability to stand for long periods of time
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- adherence to all hotel policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- minimum one-year hospitality experience in housekeeping
- ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
- strong attention to detail
- commitment to exceptional guest service
- ability to clean multiple room types and meet daily cleaning quotas
- willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- ability to adhere to hotel policies and procedures
Job Duties
- clean assigned guest rooms or suites per brand standards including making beds, vacuuming, dusting and cleaning bathrooms
- maintain cleaning protocols and ensure sanitation
- empty trash containers and replace liners
- restock usable items in guest rooms such as soap, towels, amenities and paper products
- remove and dispose of guest room trays, glassware and silverware appropriately
- clean and vacuum exterior entryways and hallways
- maintain linen closets and supply areas in a clean and organized manner
- attend promptly to guest laundry and dry-cleaning orders
- notify supervisor of special guestroom issues or maintenance needs
- handle guest complaints or requests and escalate if necessary
- secure rooms upon leaving
- create guest satisfaction through genuine hospitality adhering to brand standards
- provide timely and effective guest problem resolution
- perform other duties as required by management
