The Room & Laundry Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring our hotel maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. As a Room & Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms as well as public spaces, ensuring every area meets our strict hygiene standards. You will also be tasked with inspecting room fixtures and equipment, such as televisions, radios, and heating and cooling systems, to identify any maintenance issues and report them promptly for repair. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping experience a plus
- must be able to operate power cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and shampooers
- must possess strong attention to detail
- indoor environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals and various waste
- must be able to tolerate standing and walking for 8 to 10 hour shifts
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push a cart weighing up to 150 lbs
- weekend, holiday, and varied hours may apply
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provide high standards of cleanliness and sanitation for hotel guests
- clean all guest rooms and public spaces as assigned
- inspect all room fixtures, furniture, televisions, radios, and heating and cooling equipment for maintenance needs and report when not functioning properly
- wash, dry, and fold towels and sheets
- operate power cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and shampooers
- ensure compliance with hotel cleanliness policies
- assist with laundry operations
