This well-established restaurant group operates in multiple cities including Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Houston, Raleigh, and Winter Park, offering diverse and innovative dining experiences that resonate with both local communities and visitors. Rocket Farm Restaurants has carved out a reputation not only for its high standards in culinary excellence but also for its ethical work culture and dynamic team-oriented atmosphere. Their kitchens are hubs of creativity and collaboration where talented professionals thrive in an encouraging and empowering setting. Employment at Rocket Farm Restaurants means joining a company that actively supports employee growth through initiatives like Rocket Farm University, which provides specialized leadership classes and personalized career advancement support. They also foster employee voice via mentorship programs, advisory councils, and safety committees, making it a place where team members feel valued and involved in shaping the workplace for the better. The Sous Chef plays a critical role in training line cooks to uphold these standards and in stepping up as the kitchen leader in the absence of the Executive Chef. This requires someone who can lead with positivity, proactivity, and composure under pressure, skills which help to anticipate challenges and implement effective solutions. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on experience, complemented by a generous quarterly bonus program. Employees become eligible for full benefits after just 30 days of employment, including major medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage. Beyond the tangible benefits, the company prides itself on a culture that promotes a healthy work-life balance through paid time off, childbirth recovery leave, and parental leave. Employees also enjoy significant long-term retention bonuses, time off during major holidays including Thanksgiving and Christmas, and a 50% discount at all Rocket Farm Restaurants locations. Joining Rocket Farm Restaurants as a Sous Chef means becoming part of a dynamic, innovative, and heartfelt group of individuals who are dedicated not only to culinary excellence but also to creating a supportive and ethical working environment.
