Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior culinary experience
  • leadership experience in a kitchen environment
  • ability to manage staff and kitchen operations
  • strong organizational skills
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • commitment to uphold company culture and values

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of progressive culinary experience
  • at least one year in a lead cook or Sous Chef role
  • strong leadership skills
  • ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • excellent communication skills
  • knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations

Job Duties

  • Manage the hourly and back of house staff
  • assist in day-to-day kitchen operations including production, prep, stewarding, purchasing and receiving
  • train line cooks to ensure consistency of menu items
  • lead the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • maintain a positive and proactive approach to solve kitchen issues
  • motivate and inspire a cohesive kitchen team
  • work calmly under pressure
