Rocket Farm Restaurants is currently seeking a passionate Executive Sous Chef to join their Charlotte locations. This role is critical in the orchestration of day-to-day kitchen operations and requires someone who is hands-on, professional, and capable of leading a cohesive culinary team. The Executive Sous Chef is entrusted with overseeing all kitchen activities including production, preparation, stewarding, purchasing, and receiving, as well as managing private parties and special events with precision and care. This leadership position demands a calm presence under pressure, effective management of culinary staff, and detailed supervision of budget and labor controls to maximize productivity and maintain exceptional guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings at least five years of progressive culinary experience, including two years in a Sous Chef capacity, and demonstrates excellent leadership skills.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $85,000 annually depending on experience, coupled with a generous quarterly bonus program. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum five years culinary experience
  • At least two years as a Sous Chef
  • Ability to lead and train culinary teams
  • Proficient in kitchen management
  • Good communication skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours and weekends
