This principle guides every aspect of their operations, emphasizing dignity, respect, and care not only towards customers but also among the kitchen and service staff. This company believes in equality of treatment whether behind the scenes in the kitchen or in front of the guests in the dining room, fostering a workplace that values collaboration, education, and mutual respect among all employees. As a growing hospitality group with multiple locations spanning cities such as Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Houston, Raleigh, and Winter Park, Rocket Farm Restaurants is recognized for its innovative approach to management and staff development, as well as its dedication to guest satisfaction and culinary excellence.
The Executive Chef role at Rocket Farm Restaurants is a highly influential and rewarding position designed for an experienced culinary leader passionate about excellence and people. This position entails comprehensive leadership responsibilities that include managing and directing the entire culinary team, overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations from production and preparation to special events, purchasing, and receiving. The Executive Chef plays a crucial role in ensuring that all culinary staff work efficiently and productively in alignment with the company's standards for exceptional guest experiences. With a focus on training and development, the Executive Chef mentors kitchen staff, promotes continuous education, and fosters internal career advancement opportunities. An integral part of this role is managing recipe execution and education across both culinary and service teams, maintaining budgetary goals—specifically food cost percentages—and managing quality control by actively reviewing guest feedback.
This position requires a candidate with at least ten years of progressive culinary experience, with a minimum of five years in senior management roles, to bring a strategic vision and hands-on expertise to the kitchen. The Executive Chef must lead by example, ensuring that food production and plating meet the highest standards, especially during service, and building a culture centered on education and professional growth. Rocket Farm Restaurants offers a competitive salary package ranging from $85,000 to $120,000 annually, dependent on experience, combined with a generous quarterly bonus program. In addition to a supportive and ethical work environment, this role comes with full benefit eligibility after 30 days of employment, including major medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage. Working with Rocket Farm means becoming part of a heartfelt team committed to meaningful service and culinary innovation while supporting work-life balance through paid time off and targeted family leave options. The company also provides unique benefits like Rocket Farm University leadership programs, mentorship initiatives, retention bonuses, and employee discounts, making it an excellent choice for culinary professionals seeking both growth and stability in their careers.
