Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
- proven track record in managing a high-volume kitchen
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- strong decision-making skills
- physically able to meet the demands of a fast-paced kitchen environment
- commitment to the core philosophy of serving the person who serves the guest
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 10 years progressive culinary experience
- at least 5 years in senior culinary management
- strong leadership and team-building skills
- expertise in food cost management and budgeting
- ability to train and mentor culinary staff
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- lead the culinary team and direct all kitchen operations including production, prep, special events, purchasing, and receiving
- ensure culinary employees maximize efficiency and productivity to achieve guest satisfaction
- actively review and evaluate daily guest feedback
- oversee recipe execution and education for culinary and service staff
- direct food production and plating during service
- properly train all line cooks
- meet or exceed budgeted food cost percentage
- foster an educational environment for culinary staff development
