Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
  • proven track record in managing a high-volume kitchen
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • strong decision-making skills
  • physically able to meet the demands of a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • commitment to the core philosophy of serving the person who serves the guest

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 10 years progressive culinary experience
  • at least 5 years in senior culinary management
  • strong leadership and team-building skills
  • expertise in food cost management and budgeting
  • ability to train and mentor culinary staff
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • lead the culinary team and direct all kitchen operations including production, prep, special events, purchasing, and receiving
  • ensure culinary employees maximize efficiency and productivity to achieve guest satisfaction
  • actively review and evaluate daily guest feedback
  • oversee recipe execution and education for culinary and service staff
  • direct food production and plating during service
  • properly train all line cooks
  • meet or exceed budgeted food cost percentage
  • foster an educational environment for culinary staff development
