We are currently seeking a dependable and skilled LTL Road Driver to become a valued member of our expanding logistics team. This full-time role offers a competitive starting wage of $30.56 per hour, along with mileage pay at $0.70 for single drivers and $0.37 for sleeper team drivers. As a Road Driver with TForce Freight, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight across various regional and non-regional routes. This role is critical to maintaining timely deliveries and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout our service network. You will operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, ensuring proper loading and securing of cargo before departure. Your duties will also include conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate records of driving hours and cargo conditions, and effectively communicating with dispatch management to coordinate schedules and resolve any transportation challenges.
Ideal candidates will possess excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and strong communication abilities to interact professionally with customers and colleagues. A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with necessary endorsements such as Hazmat, tanker, and doubles is required. Candidates must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company standards, demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, and be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. This position requires adherence to safety standards to minimize risks and ensure secure transportation of freight.

Job Requirements
- Valid class A commercial driver’s license
- minimum age of 21 years
- ability to meet DOT and company safety standards
- must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- ability to read, write and speak English

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Operate a commercial vehicle transporting goods to various locations safely and efficiently
- ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly before departure
- provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and handling any customer inquiries or concerns
- perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance needs
- adhere to all local, state and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols
- maintain accurate logs for driving hours, routes traveled and cargo conditions
- communicate with the dispatch management team regarding schedules, delays and any issues that may arise during transportation
