With a commitment to efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction, TForce Freight provides a variety of services including regional, interregional, long-haul transportation, cross-border shipments, and advanced freight tracking technology. The company prides itself on delivering reliable and timely freight solutions designed to meet the evolving needs of its customers while maintaining high operational standards.
The role of Road Driver - Teams at TForce Freight offers an exciting opportunity for professional drivers interested in joining a robust and growing logistics team. This position involves the transportation of freight across varied routes that include both regional and non-regional destinations, emphasizing the importance of punctuality and freight safety during transit. The Road Driver will play an essential role in ensuring cargo is handled and delivered correctly, thus upholding TForce Freight's reputation for excellent customer service. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $30.56 per hour with overtime paid after 8 hours, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes a company-paid pension, nine paid company holidays, access to family medical plans for less than $150 per month, and free individual medical plans. Drivers operating under this role are expected to handle no-touch freight, benefit from being home daily, and operate under a non-contributory pension plan, catering to a work-life balance that supports both professional and personal wellbeing.
Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude, essential for managing client relationships and responding promptly to inquiries or concerns during the delivery process. The role demands a high degree of responsibility and compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation laws and safety protocols. Maintaining accurate logs for driving hours, cargo condition, and routes traveled will be critical for operational transparency and legal compliance. Candidates are encouraged to have a clear ten-year employment history, in line with FMCSA regulations, demonstrating a consistent and reliable work background. Comprehensive training and continuous support are provided to ensure a smooth integration into the company’s team structure and operational requirements. This is an excellent chance for dedicated drivers to build a rewarding career in a well-established company recognized for its professionalism and strong market presence in freight logistics.
