TForce Freight is currently growing its team and actively seeking motivated individuals to join as Road Drivers. This role is vital for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of freight across various routes, both regional and non-regional. The position requires a reliable, customer-focused professional who can maintain excellent communication and uphold the company’s reputation for outstanding service. As a Road Driver at TForce Freight, you will operate commercial vehicles to transport goods, conduct thorough inspections of vehicles, and ensure all cargo is properly secured to prevent damage during transit. The role demands strict adherence to local, state, and federal transportation regulations, including those enforced by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).

Job Requirements

  • Valid class a commercial driver’s license (CDL) in resident state
  • Hazmat, tanker and doubles endorsements
  • 21 years of age
  • Meet all DOT and company requirements
  • Able to read, write and speak the english language
  • U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Safety perform essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to self or co-workers
  • Complete 10 year employment history in accordance with FMCSA regulations

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Operate a commercial vehicle transporting goods to various locations safely and efficiently
  • Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly before departure
  • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and handling any customer inquiries or concerns
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance needs
  • Adhere to all local, state and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate logs for driving hours, routes traveled and cargo conditions
  • Communicate with the dispatch management team regarding schedules, delays and any issues that may arise during transportation
