The role of Road Driver Solo & Sleeper Team at TForce Freight is a pivotal position within this dynamic organization. This job entails the responsibility of transporting valuable freight safely and efficiently across both regional and non-regional routes. The successful candidates for this role will be expected to perform a variety of duties to maintain the high standards of service that TForce Freight is known for. Drivers in this role are required to operate commercial vehicles with care, ensuring all cargo is properly loaded, secured, and delivered on time. They must also be capable of conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any maintenance needs, maintaining vehicle safety and roadworthiness.

Customer service is a critical aspect of this role, requiring effective communication skills to handle inquiries and resolve concerns promptly. Maintaining accurate logs, including driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo conditions, is essential in compliance with FMCSA regulations. Job Duties

  • operate a commercial vehicle transporting goods to various locations safely and efficiently
  • ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly before departure
