We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced LTL Road Driver to join our expanding logistics team. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of timely deliveries and excellent service that define our brand. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $27.16 per hour, along with single mileage and sleeper mileage rates of $0.70713 and $0.37305 respectively. The Road Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of commercial vehicles transporting freight to various destinations. A vital part of the role involves ensuring that all cargo is meticulously loaded and secured before departure to prevent damage and maintain safety on the road. Beyond driving responsibilities, the driver is expected to provide top-tier customer service by managing delivery schedules, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues promptly. The position demands thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs and guarantee compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards at local, state, and federal levels.

Effective communication with the dispatch management team is essential to coordinate schedules, report delays, and tackle any complications during transit. Accurate logging of driving hours, routes, and cargo conditions is mandatory to comply with regulatory requirements and support operational transparency. Candidates should bring a positive, customer-focused attitude, be adept in time management, and be capable of working flexible hours including weekends and holidays as operational needs dictate. The role requires a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with necessary endorsements such as Hazmat, tanker, and doubles.

Job Requirements

  • Valid class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Hazmat, tanker and doubles endorsements
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Compliance with all DOT regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to perform essential job functions safely

Job Duties
