With more than 178 service centers strategically located across the continent, TForce Freight provides a variety of options ranging from regional and interregional hauling to long-haul transportation. Moreover, it offers cross-border services between the United States and Canada, supported by advanced tracking technology that enhances operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. As part of a large and growing logistics network, TForce Freight is committed to delivering outstanding service reliability and fostering career growth for its employees.

The Road Driver role at TForce Freight is an excellent opportunity for highly motivated and experienced commercial drivers looking to advance their careers within a stable and expanding company. This position offers a competitive starting hourly wage of $30.56 and mileage rates of $0.70 per single mile and $0.37 per sleeper mile. Benefits include pension plans, 401K options, paid time off, and excellent wages, creating a supportive environment that rewards dedication and professionalism.

As a Road Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of freight across a variety of routes—including regional and non-regional assignments. This role requires not only physical endurance and driving expertise but also a strong commitment to customer service excellence. You will be expected to manage cargo loading and securing, ensuring all shipments are handled according to safety regulations and company policies. Pre-trip and post-trip inspections will be a routine part of your duties, helping to maintain the vehicle's safety standards and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Effective communication with dispatch and management teams will be essential to coordinate schedules, report delays, and resolve any transportation challenges that arise during your routes. Adherence to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations, including FMCSA standards, is mandatory to maintain compliance and safety. Candidates are reminded to provide a complete 10-year employment history in their applications, as required by FMCSA regulations.

This role is ideally suited for candidates who are at least 21 years old, hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with hazmat, tanker, and doubles endorsements, and possess an impeccable customer service attitude. The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, is a necessity, as is proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States is also required.

By joining TForce Freight, Road Drivers become part of a dedicated team focused on delivering reliability and superior customer experiences. With robust benefits, competitive pay, and a respectful work environment, TForce Freight offers drivers the chance to thrive personally and professionally while contributing meaningfully to the logistics industry.
