Communication skills are fundamental in this role, as drivers must coordinate with dispatch management to address scheduling, delays, and any issues encountered during shipment transit. Additionally, maintaining accurate logs related to driving hours, travel routes, and cargo condition is crucial for compliance and operational tracking.

Employers at TForce Freight value candidates who demonstrate a positive, customer-focused attitude and strong organizational and time management skills, as the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, is vital to meet customer needs effectively. The company supports its staff with excellent wages, pension and 401K plans, paid time off, and comprehensive benefits, making it a great place for career growth and stability in the freight and logistics industry. Applicants applying for this role should prepare to comply with FMCSA regulations by providing a detailed ten-year employment history, which reflects the company's commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
