With 178 plus service centers, the company has a strong regional and national presence, providing services including regional, interregional, and long-haul transportation, as well as cross-border shipments. Their commitment to excellence is supported by advanced tracking technology, ensuring customers receive real-time updates and unparalleled service. The company prides itself on fostering a positive and dynamic work environment where employees are valued and career growth is encouraged. TForce Freight offers competitive wages, comprehensive benefits such as pension plans, 401K retirement options, paid time off, and much more, making it an attractive employer for professionals seeking stability and opportunity in the freight and logistics industry.
TForce Freight is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Road Driver to join their expanding logistics team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently across both regional and non-regional routes. The position is ideal for individuals who are customer-focused, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining the security of cargo, and providing outstanding customer service throughout the delivery process. With a starting hourly rate of $30.56 and mileage compensation of $0.70 per single mile and $0.37 for sleeper miles, this opportunity offers competitive pay aligned with industry standards.
In addition to handling freight transportation, this role requires thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, adherence to all transportation regulations and safety protocols, and precise record-keeping of driving hours and routes. Communication with dispatch management is a key part of the job to address schedules, delays, or issues proactively. Candidates must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) along with hazmat, tanker, and doubles endorsements. They must also meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company requirements, including safety regulations. This role requires the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and demands strong organizational and time management skills. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
Whether you are an experienced driver looking to advance your career or someone seeking a new opportunity in the trucking industry, TForce Freight offers a supportive and rewarding work environment with excellent pay and benefits.
