The role of Road Driver Solo & Sleeper Team at TForce Freight is an exciting opportunity for experienced and dependable commercial vehicle operators who are looking to advance their careers within a growing logistics network. This position requires drivers to transport freight across both regional and non-regional routes, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while maintaining excellent communication with customers and dispatch teams. Solo drivers and sleeper teams are entrusted with a key role in operational success, requiring not only expert driving skills but also the ability to securely load and unload cargo, adhere to stringent safety regulations, and maintain accurate driving logs. Drivers must be prepared to handle pre-trip and post-trip inspections, address maintenance needs proactively, and consistently demonstrate a customer-focused attitude. The role demands adaptability, including the willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays as needed. Job Requirements

  • Valid class A commercial driver's license
  • Hazmat, tanker and doubles endorsements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Meet all DOT and company requirements
  • Ability to perform essential job functions safely
  • Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Complete 10 year employment history as per FMCSA regulations
  • Positive customer-focused attitude

Job Qualifications

  • Impeccable customer service and dedication
  • Valid class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in resident state
  • Hazmat, tanker and doubles endorsements
  • 21 years of age
  • Meet all DOT and Company requirements
  • Safety perform essential job functions without obvious risk of injury to self or co-workers
  • Able to read, write and speak the English language
  • U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
  • Strong organizational and time managements skills

Job Duties

  • Operate a commercial vehicle transporting goods to various locations safely and efficiently
  • Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly before departure
  • Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and handling any customer inquiries or concerns
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance needs
  • Adhere to all local, state and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate logs for driving hours, routes traveled and cargo conditions
  • Communicate with the dispatch management team regarding schedules, delays and any issues that may arise during transportation
