The role of Road Driver at TForce Freight is an essential position within the logistics team, focused on transporting goods safely and efficiently across both regional and non-regional routes. The Road Driver will be responsible for operating commercial vehicles, securing cargo, performing vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate logs, and complying with all transportation regulations. This job offers a pay rate of $30.56 per hour and is designed for experienced drivers holding a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with multiple endorsements including hazmat, tanker, and doubles. Candidates must also demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills and be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Emphasis is placed on safety and following federal, state, and local regulations to protect both the driver and the cargo. Job Requirements

  • valid class a commercial driver’s license (CDL) in resident state
  • hazmat, tanker and doubles endorsements
  • 21 years of age
  • meet all DOT and company requirements
  • able to read, write and speak the english language
  • u.s. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the u.s.
  • ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • operate a commercial vehicle transporting goods to various locations safely and efficiently
  • ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly before departure
  • provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and handling any customer inquiries or concerns
  • perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance needs
  • adhere to all local, state and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols
  • maintain accurate logs for driving hours, routes traveled and cargo conditions
  • communicate with the dispatch management team regarding schedules, delays and any issues that may arise during transportation
