The role offered is a Nursing Service Administration position focused on collaborating closely with management to plan, steer, and coordinate daily tasks within the nursing department. The individual will create and implement policies and procedures aligning with the department’s priorities to ensure seamless administrative and business operations concentrated on providing patient-centered care. Responsibilities extend to managing staffing, equipment, and expense budgets for the year, while applying Lean methodologies to improve practice efficiency and patient outcomes. The role requires keeping staff informed about patients’ conditions, especially critical cases, and handling various operational duties such as maintaining records, preparing reports, managing equipment and inventory, and overseeing data systems for report generation. Effective communication and strong relationship-building skills with staff, patients’ families, doctors, and external partners are essential for enhancing care quality and solving challenges promptly. Overall, this position plays a vital role in managing the nursing service with an emphasis on leadership, compliance, and operational excellence to support the healthcare objectives of Baylor Scott & White Health.

Job Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing
- Minimum three years RN experience
- Two years leadership experience
- Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office and electronic medical records systems
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Manage and oversee daily business and administrative operations with emphasis on patient-centered care
