The position of Shift Manager (Registered Nurse) at Doctors Hospital of Manteca is a full-time, night shift role that carries significant responsibility and accountability for the delivery of skilled, high-quality patient care. This role reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer and plays an essential part in managing the personnel and operational functions of the Wound Center during assigned shifts. The Shift Manager prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care, providing guidance on clinical issues related to patient care plans. Candidates for the Shift Manager role should possess active California Registered Nurse licensure and have completed training that enables them to provide safe and proficient nursing care for a wide range of patient populations including pediatric, medical, surgical, correctional, and geriatric patients. Depending on the level (I-IV) of the Shift Manager position, a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree or higher, as well as national certification, are required. Experience levels vary from 2 years for entry-level managers to 7 years for senior shift managers.
