Job Description

Presbyterian Homes & Services (PHS), headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, is a reputable nonprofit, faith-based organization dedicated to delivering a wide range of high-quality housing, care, and service options specifically tailored for older adults. Established in 1955, PHS has grown to become one of the largest nonprofit providers of senior housing and services in the United States, serving over 41,800 older adults across Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin through its network of 60 affiliated senior living communities. The organization also operates Optage®, a comprehensive home and community services provider, and co-owns Genevive, the largest geriatric primary care practice in Minnesota, which delivers extensive care to more than 15,500 older adults. PHS is celebrated for its innovative leadership and steadfast commitment to promoting independence, purposeful living, and holistic well-being among the seniors it serves.

Langton Shores, part of the PHS family, is a distinguished care community located at 1900 County Road D West, Roseville, Minnesota. Nestled on 14 scenic acres in a residential neighborhood, Langton Shores features a brand new, state-of-the-art facility offering skilled nursing through transitional care designed for shorter stays that focus on rehabilitation and recovery. This environment is ideal for residents seeking personalized attention and a supportive atmosphere that fosters healing and independence. Employees at Langton Shores benefit from a close-knit team environment dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality care. The community offers a variety of amenities, including off-street parking, beautiful wooded walking trails, and monthly employee appreciation events, supporting both staff and resident well-being.

The role of Director of Nursing/Clinical Administrator at Langton Shores is a pivotal leadership position within the Transitional Care Unit (TCU) and Long-Term Care team. Reporting directly to the community Administrator, the Clinical Administrator supervises all clinical service staff including Clinical Coordinators, Home Care Health Services personnel, RNs, LPNs, Medication Aides, and Resident Assistants. Additionally, this role manages contracted service providers to ensure consistent clinical care delivery.

The Director of Nursing is entrusted with planning, organizing, developing, evaluating, and guiding the clinical staff and care programs to ensure the provision of exceptional resident care that meets regulatory standards and clinical best practices. Alongside the site leadership team, this individual contributes to strategic planning and the implementation of initiatives aimed at enhancing resident care quality while achieving the community's operational goals.

Key responsibilities include fostering an environment that supports the physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being of residents while maintaining their independence and dignity. The Clinical Administrator is accountable for establishing effective communication systems with residents, families, and staff and ensures the nursing care process—from assessment through evaluation—is efficiently managed and documented. Oversight of medical records for accuracy and completeness is a critical duty, as is leading and developing a large clinical team to meet daily and long-term care objectives.

This role offers a competitive starting salary range between $103,251 and $135,517 annually, reflecting the candidate’s qualifications and market conditions, along with comprehensive full-time benefits. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and compassionate nursing leader who is committed to quality senior care and ready to contribute to an innovative and respectful care community.
