Job Requirements
- Graduate of accredited nursing program
- Minimum of one year of RN clinical experience
- Valid Arkansas registered nursing license
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
- Ability to work independently and maintain high quality care
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Leadership and collaborative skills
- Strong patient advocacy and education skills
- Strong organizational and computer skills
- Professional and courteous telephone etiquette
- Knowledge of office machines
- Understanding of basic medical terminology
Job Qualifications

- Baccalaureate degree, ADN degree, or diploma RN
- Minimum of one year of RN clinical experience
- Valid Arkansas registered nursing license
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification

Job Duties
- Assist with scheduling

- Triage
- assessment
- planning
- implementation
- and evaluation of nursing care and patient education either by telephone or within the UAMS Clinic
- Deliver nursing care according to standards as defined by UAMS, American Nurses Association (ANA), AR State Board of Nursing (ASBN), and those set forth by nursing specialty organizations
- Coordinate care and/or follow-up for patients who receive care in inpatient and outpatient facilities
- Implement patient care using an approach that is interdisciplinary and Patient and Family-Centered Care
- Effectively collaborate and communicate with nursing staff at all levels, interdisciplinary teams, executive leaders, and other stakeholders
- Perform other duties as assigned
