Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in nursing or master degree in nursing
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience required
  • Licensed registered nurse (RN) single state or RN-compact multi-state
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Desire for progressive nursing management roles
  • Continuous learner focused on healthcare financing and operations
  • Ability to support shared governance and evidence-based care delivery
  • Interest in risk management and accreditation compliance

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in nursing or masters degree in nursing
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with single state or multi-state compact license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to mentor and coach nursing staff
  • Knowledge of healthcare financing and nursing management principles

Job Duties

  • Engages staff in decision making via shared governance processes
  • Supports the nurse manager and provides leadership for a specific unit
  • Represents the organization positively to the community
  • Serves as a resource for all staff and supports charge nurses
  • Assists with budget development and monitors fiscal outcomes
  • Collaborates to hold staff accountable for performance standards
  • Promotes evidence-based practice and nursing research
