Job Requirements

  • Current and valid RN license in Texas or from a Compact Party State
  • At least 2 years of long-term care experience
  • Proactive and team-focused approach to leadership
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to mentor and support clinical staff
  • Commitment to quality improvement
  • Flexible to work various shifts as required

Job Qualifications

  • Current and valid RN license in Texas or from a Compact Party State
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care nursing

Job Duties

  • Assist the Director of Nursing in managing the daily operations of the nursing department
  • Lead and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and facility policies
  • Participate in the development and implementation of care plans and quality improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to promote comprehensive resident care
  • Support staff education and training programs
  • Monitor staffing levels and help manage schedules to optimize care delivery
