Job Requirements
- Experience as a chef or kitchen manager
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to prepare therapeutic and modified diets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with staff and external partners
- Completion of food safety course
- Willingness to assist in supervisory and leadership duties

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with staff and external constituents
- Skilled in preparing therapeutic and modified diets
- Successful completion of a recognized food safety course
Job Duties
- Prepare delicious food that meets a variety of dietary needs
- Conduct regular quality assurance audits to ensure food is well prepared and kitchen is neat and organized
- Ensure kitchen food safety and sanitary food handling in compliance with King County and DSHS regulations
- Maintain professional relationships with food and equipment vendors
- Hire, orient, train, and evaluate kitchen staff
- Assist with supervising utility and front-of-house staff as needed
- Create a motivating environment that encourages team members to be involved, creative, and problem solving
- Act as Executive Chef in their absence
- Perform other duties as assigned
