The Broadmoor boasts a rich history as the longest running Five-Star, Five-Diamond resort in the world, offering guests an unforgettable experience through its high standards of hospitality and world-class amenities. As part of this elite team, Ristorante del Lago delivers gourmet cuisine in a refined setting, catering to guests who appreciate fine dining and impeccable service. Working here means becoming part of a storied tradition of excellence and being an ambassador of the Broadmoor brand, which is synonymous with quality, elegance, and outstanding guest experience.

The role of Food Runner/Busser at Ristorante del Lago is a vital position that supports the seamless delivery of food and beverage service within the restaurant. This position offers a pay range of $18-25 per hour, which includes a base wage of $5.42 per hour plus a service charge commission paid per shift. Historically, employees in this role have earned an additional service charge commission averaging between $13-20 per hour. Service charge commissions may vary depending on events and seasonal fluctuations but always assure at least the current Colorado minimum wage of $15.16 per hour.

This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of service expected at The Broadmoor. Food Runners and Bussers are responsible for executing guest service duties aligned with Forbes and AAA inspection standards, ensuring all food items are delivered correctly and promptly, and the dining environment is kept clean and well-organized. This attention to detail and speed is critical in creating an exceptional dining experience. Working in this fast-paced, team-oriented environment requires enthusiasm, energy, and a commitment to upholding The Broadmoor's policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Additionally, team members in this role participate actively in pre-bussing, resetting tables, replenishing supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and small maintenance tasks such as setting up beverage stations and handling service ware. They act as a liaison between the kitchen, serving staff, and guests, providing communication that helps maintain smooth operations during service times. This ensures that guests receive attentive service that meets the resort's Five-Star and Five-Diamond standards. Employees are also encouraged to be familiar with the resort's rich history, local points of interest, and other amenities to further enrich guest interactions.

The Broadmoor fosters a culture of family and community among its employees, recognizing that teamwork and a positive attitude contribute significantly to providing guests with memorable experiences. This role provides an opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality to grow their careers in a supportive environment that values professional development through training and advancement opportunities.
