RIM Bartender - Full TIme

This position requires proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems to accurately input and ring-up guest orders, manage transactions, and handle cash with responsibility. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of bar areas and equipment is crucial, including tasks such as removing empty glasses and bottles, cleaning ashtrays, emptying garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, and sanitizing equipment.

In addition, bartenders are tasked with ensuring the bar is properly and adequately set up daily, both before, during, and after shifts. Responsibilities include refilling chemical and hand soap containers, ice and beer bins, and operating ice-making machines. A strong focus on guest interaction is expected as bartenders listen and respond positively and clearly to guest inquiries, answer questions regarding hotel services, local attractions, and transportation, and provide helpful recommendations including beverage pairings with meals. Coordination with management about orders and inventory is also part of the role, supporting smooth operations behind the scenes.

The ideal candidate will bring knowledge of safe alcohol service, awareness of relevant laws and regulations, and a demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team setting. This role demands good physical stamina due to the nature of the work, which includes constant standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and possess or be able to obtain an Alcohol Awareness Card as required by law.
