This organization operates a modern rice processing plant known for its commitment to high-quality ingredient production and adherence to stringent food safety standards. The company prides itself on offering a supportive work environment focused on communication, community, and wellness among its team members. Employment for this role is full-time on the third shift, specifically the AWS Night Shift from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with competitive hourly pay ranging between $24.00 and $30.00. The company also highlights a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision coverage, and a 401(k) match, alongside additional perks such as tuition reimbursement and referral bonus programs.

The role of the Rice Plant Cook Line Operator demands an individual who is responsible for the operation and monitoring of rice cooking and processing equipment. This includes preparing product batches according to established formulas and specifications, performing in-process quality testing such as monitoring Brix, pH, temperature, and moisture levels, and ensuring that all production meets the required food safety and quality standards. The position requires adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), strict sanitation protocols including Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Clean-out-of-Place (COP) procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Communication is key in this role, as the operator must report any equipment, safety, or quality issues while ensuring effective shift handoffs to maintain team coordination.

Additional aspects of the role include detailed recordkeeping for production and ingredient documentation, which supports the company's commitment to quality assurance and traceability. Teamwork and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting are essential, as is a strong focus on safety to uphold workplace standards. This role offers growth opportunities for individuals eager to expand their skillsets and advance their careers within the company's established operational framework. The work culture emphasizes stability, with no seasonal cuts, and provides access to employee-friendly programs such as on-demand pay and quarterly bonuses based on team achievements. This position is ideal for candidates who possess mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement within a food processing environment.
