Kadlec Clinic is a well-established and rapidly growing network of primary and specialty care physicians and clinics located in the vibrant Tri-Cities area of southeast Washington and northeast Oregon. As part of Kadlec, the leading healthcare organization in the region, the clinic is integrated with Kadlec Regional Medical Center, the most advanced hospital in the area. Recognized for its high employee satisfaction, Kadlec Clinic proudly holds the Best in Class seal awarded by HR Solutions. This affirms its commitment to a supportive work environment, employee well-being, and professional growth. The clinic’s multidisciplinary team is dedicated to leveraging cutting-edge medical technology alongside compassionate, respectful, and personalized healthcare delivery. Kadlec Clinic offers a wide array of specialty services designed to meet diverse patient needs in a collaborative and engaging atmosphere.
We are currently seeking a full-time Rheumatology physician to join the thriving Kadlec Clinic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a collegial group of healthcare providers, contributing not only to clinical care but also to the broader academic mission by participating in clinical trials and precepting nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical students, and Family Medicine residents. The position is ideal for both experienced clinicians and new graduates, including J1 waiver candidates, who are eager to grow and thrive in a high-quality medical environment. Our scheduling is designed to support a healthy work-life balance, providing 36 clinic hours per week complemented by administrative time, ensuring sufficient time for both patient care and professional responsibilities.
Physicians joining Kadlec Rheumatology will benefit from a robust support system that includes a highly competent nursing and pharmacy staff, alongside a 12-chair infusion clinic tailored for rheumatology treatments. This infrastructure ensures optimal patient care and provider efficiency. The role also comes with generous recruitment incentives and comprehensive professional student debt advice at no charge, a valuable resource for new graduates navigating financial decisions. Kadlec qualifies for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program, offering additional financial relief opportunities.
Compensation for this position ranges between $234,305 and $327,860 annually, with the possibility of earning productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, and extra shift incentives, depending on position specifics. Providers may also have access to continuing medical education (CME) benefits to support ongoing professional development. The attractive salary package combined with the clinic’s comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities makes this an ideal role for Rheumatology physicians looking to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a balanced lifestyle.
The Kadlec Clinic is not only a great place to work but also a wonderful place to live. Situated in Kennewick, Washington, this beautiful community rests on the southern bank of the Columbia River, part of the vibrant Tri-Cities metropolitan area, which includes Pasco and Richland. Known for its agricultural prominence and world-renowned wine industry, this region offers a rich cultural and recreational lifestyle. Residents enjoy a cost-of-living index of 95, no state income tax, around 300 days of sunshine annually, and extensive opportunities for outdoor activities throughout the year. Kennewick provides a welcoming community environment that supports a high quality of life, making it an excellent choice for professionals and their families.
As a member of the Providence family, Kadlec maintains a strong commitment to its mission of delivering safe, compassionate care to all patients. With over 3,000 employees, Kadlec fosters an inclusive workplace and is an Equal Opportunity Employer, welcoming candidates with disabilities and veterans. Joining Kadlec means becoming part of a forward-thinking healthcare organization that values innovation, community engagement, and excellence in patient care.
