This Revenue Manager position is a full-time, management-level opportunity based remotely at Marriott’s Bethesda, Maryland location. Offering a competitive annual salary range of $62,000 to $90,000 plus eligibility for bonuses, the role is designed for an experienced professional passionate about revenue management and skilled at optimizing hotel room inventory and revenue streams. The Revenue Manager primarily maintains the transient rooms inventory across hotel properties and strategically maximizes transient revenue. One of the key responsibilities includes releasing group rooms back into the general inventory, ensuring clean booking windows for customers to secure reservations efficiently.
In this role, the Revenue Manager analyses and monitors actual sales data against projected sales to identify trends, market opportunities, and challenges. They use advanced analytical and reporting skills to provide insights and recommendations for pricing strategies and positioning of cluster properties. The role requires proficiency with inventory management systems to ensure the execution of agreed-upon selling strategies aligns with corporate objectives. By collaborating closely with cluster general managers, leadership teams, market sales leaders, and other stakeholders, the Revenue Manager ensures that hotel strategies conform to brand philosophies and initiatives. This includes confirming communications around rate restrictions and sales strategies adapt dynamically as market conditions fluctuate.
The Revenue Manager also leads efforts to coordinate strategies between group sales offices and supports cluster selling initiatives using reservation and demand forecasting systems. They perform competitive analysis by checking distribution channels for positioning accuracy and offer strategic guidance to improve revenue management effectiveness. Engaging in continuous market knowledge updates and strategic realignments, the role emphasizes execution of long-term objectives to surpass performance, budget, and team goals. Furthermore, the position involves fostering successful relationships within internal key stakeholders and acting as a liaison between property and corporate systems support when necessary.

Job Requirements
- associate or bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
- minimum 1 to 3 years of professional experience in revenue management or related area
- proficiency in data analysis and revenue management software
