The hiring establishment is a longstanding 3rd generation family-owned business headquartered in Ocean City, Maryland. Operating since 1951, this reputable company manages over fifteen hotels and seven restaurants across multiple popular coastal destinations including Ocean City, Maryland; Virginia Beach; Corolla, North Carolina; and Jacksonville Beach, Florida. The role offered is Revenue Manager, reporting directly to the Corporate Director of Revenue. This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary range between 65,000 and 85,000 USD. The Revenue Manager plays an essential part in maximizing revenue streams and profitability across a wide portfolio of hotel properties. By aligning pricing, distribution, and inventory management strategies with both brand standards and prevailing market conditions, this role significantly influences the organization’s financial performance. The individual will be responsible for analyzing market trends, monitoring operational performance, and collaborating closely with property leadership teams to drive top-line results and support long-term financial success. The position requires oversight of pricing models, demand forecasting, and competitor analysis, utilizing advanced revenue management systems, property management systems, and business intelligence tools to enable data-driven decisions.

This role demands exceptional coordination with Property Management, Sales, Marketing, Reservations, and Front Office teams to ensure execution of revenue strategies is effective and unified across the board. Managing online travel agency relationships and leading regular revenue meetings are critical components of the role. The Revenue Manager will also interpret STAR reports, devise "13th Month" inventory strategies, and advise senior leadership on pricing changes, promotions, and system enhancements. Moreover, the individual will protect company value by ensuring compliance with corporate revenue standards while rigorously maintaining confidentiality of sensitive performance data. Flexibility to work beyond standard hours and occasional travel to hotel properties for training and meetings is expected, ensuring hands-on involvement in maintaining the company’s leadership in the competitive hospitality market. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Previous hotel revenue management experience
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations
  • Experience with Hilton GRO, Marriott One Yield, and/or IHG Concerto preferred
  • Proficient in revenue management systems, PMS, BI tools, and OTA extranets
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate across functions
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, or holidays
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee a portfolio of hotel properties to ensure pricing, distribution, and inventory management strategies maximize revenue and comply with brand standards
  • Develop, update, and maintain weekly, monthly, and annual revenue forecasts
  • Monitor market trends, demand forecasts, and competitor pricing to adjust strategies and optimize performance
  • Lead weekly revenue meetings with property teams to review performance, discuss strategies, and align upcoming initiatives
  • Manage online travel agency (OTA) relationships, ensuring optimal placement, content accuracy, and channel performance
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, and Front Office teams to align revenue goals with operational execution
  • Utilize revenue management systems (RMS), property management systems (PMS), and business intelligence (BI) tools to analyze data and inform strategy
