The Seasonal Event Coordinator role offers a unique opportunity to be part of this transformative mission while gaining hands-on experience in live event management. This seasonal, full-time, hourly position through December provides exposure to the full lifecycle of event planning and execution, with potential growth into a salaried, full-time position. Reporting to senior leadership such as the General Manager, Event Manager, or Deputy General Manager, the Seasonal Event Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting company objectives at various event properties.

The ideal candidate will bring a mix of operational acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a customer-focused mindset. They will be responsible for overseeing events from concept to completion, requiring strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. The role involves managing part-time event staff, coordinating with clients and vendors, and ensuring all event elements align to deliver excellent guest experiences. This position demands adaptability, poise, and proactive decision-making to maintain seamless event operations and uphold REVELxp’s commitment to quality and service excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds such as event materials and signage
  • Ability to bend stoop and reach
  • Manual dexterity to handle event materials and technology
  • Ability to work in varied environmental conditions including outdoor spaces
  • Good visual acuity and attention to detail
  • Ability to travel to event sites including international as needed
  • Ability to work weekends evenings or multi-day work assignments

Job Duties

  • Execute premium events at local properties including creation of site maps customer logs signage and catering set-ups
  • Hire train manage and motivate part-time event game day staff including bellhops gameday hosts and security personnel
  • Aid in facilitating weekly coordination meetings to align staff members and define game day operational priorities and expectations
  • Take charge of various operational processes including quality control and inventory management to ensure smooth and efficient event execution
  • Update and maintain customer logs to be shared with vendor or operations team for improved communication and service delivery
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with game day vendors serving as the main point of contact for seamless collaboration and service delivery
  • Provide excellent customer service onsite addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the overall guest experience during events
  • Effectively problem solve before during and after events
  • Maintain properly store and secure assets between events
