The Retail/Residential Supervisor role within Aramark oversees the POD Market operations, specifically in a retail/residential unit setting. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to three years related culinary experience
- Willingness to work event-based hours including evenings and weekends
- Ability to manage staff and operations
- Knowledge of food safety sanitation and HACCP regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to provide leadership and coaching
Job Qualifications
- Two to three years experience in a related culinary position
- Candidate will possess two to three years of post-high school education preferably a culinary degree
- Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession
- Experiential knowledge required for management of people and/or problems
- Excellent oral reading and written communication skills
- Candidate must be willing to be hands on with staff and operations and be willing to work event-based hours including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Supervise daily operations of the POD Market ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Coordinate food production merchandising and inventory controls
- Maintain compliance with all food safety sanitation and HACCP standards
- Support hiring onboarding and training of team members
- Oversee staff scheduling and provide hands-on leadership during service
- Monitor product quality freshness and presentation
- Ensure accurate pricing labeling and retail display setup
- Manage inventory ordering and waste control
- Deliver excellent customer service and address guest concerns promptly
- Maintain clean safe and organized work areas
- Provide operational support across the Commons dining location as needed
- Assist with scheduling and labor coverage to meet operational needs
- Coach employees on service standards food quality and safety practices
