Job Qualifications

Experience in warehouse, distribution, retail, furniture handling, inventory, assembly, material handling, or powered industrial equipment operation is preferred but not required

Job Duties

Safely receive, move, store, assemble, and prepare furniture and home furnishings throughout the warehouse and distribution process
operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, lifts, pallet jacks, and dollies, while following all safety procedures
inspect, prepare, and maintain merchandise to ensure products meet Ashley quality standards before customer pickup or delivery
load, unload, organize, and stage merchandise to support efficient warehouse operations and inventory accuracy
assist with product preparation, minor repairs, touch-ups, and repackaging to ensure merchandise is customer-ready
support inventory management activities, including merchandise tracking, cycle counts, and physical inventories
demonstrate exemplary customer service by creating positive experiences for customers in the warehouse and in their homes, serving as a professional and trusted representative of the Ashley brand
maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while completing required documentation accurately and on time
