- able to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and maneuver furniture and merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance for heavier items

Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in warehouse, distribution, retail, furniture handling, inventory, assembly, material handling, or powered industrial equipment operation preferred but not required
- commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
- attention to detail and high standards for product quality and accuracy
- effective communication and teamwork skills
- strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and adaptability
- willingness to learn and participate in training programs
Job Duties
- safely receive, move, store, assemble, and prepare furniture and home furnishings throughout the warehouse and distribution process
- operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, lifts, pallet jacks, and dollies while following safety procedures
- inspect, prepare, and maintain merchandise to ensure products meet Ashley quality standards before customer pickup or delivery
- load, unload, organize, and stage merchandise to support efficient warehouse operations and inventory accuracy
- assist with product preparation, minor repairs, touch-ups, and repackaging to ensure merchandise is customer-ready
- support inventory management activities including merchandise tracking, cycle counts, and physical inventories
- demonstrate exemplary customer service by creating positive experiences for customers in the warehouse and in their homes
- maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while completing required documentation accurately and on time
