Currently, DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking motivated and passionate Store Teammates to join their dynamic retail teams. This part-time or full-time position is ideal for individuals who enjoy engaging with customers and have a passion for sports and fitness. Store Teammates play a critical role in crafting an exceptional shopping experience by combining friendly service, expert product knowledge, and adherence to company standards and policies. The targeted pay range for this role is $16.00 to $23.00 per hour, with the actual rate dependent on factors such as location, experience, and specific position offered. Regardless, the hourly rate meets or exceeds local minimum wage laws.
In their role, Store Teammates proactively engage with customers, greeting and understanding their needs to provide personalized assistance. They uphold merchandising and presentation standards to ensure the store environment is inviting, organized, and conducive to a pleasant shopping journey. This includes following established floor sets, handling inventory presentation, and executing price changes accurately. The teammates also promote various company programs, such as loyalty programs, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment, which helps deepen customer engagement and satisfaction.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. repetitively
- Ability to work extended periods standing or walking
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet safely
- Ability to perform repetitive motions continuously
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to collaborate and support team members
- Commitment to upholding company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour)
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking
- Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously)
Job Duties
- Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience
- Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards
- Promote company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, etc.)
- Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of all company information
- Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customers) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect
- Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management
