Job Requirements
- Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder
- Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job
- Ability to handle customer interactions respectfully and positively
- Must complete tasks related to truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
- Must adhere to safety and operational procedures
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Must communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate events
Job Qualifications
- Experience working with children and children's events
- Excellent people skills
- Good communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal
- Organizational skills and creative problem-solving abilities
- Retail and/or customer service experience
- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children's birthday parties and other craft classes or events
- Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in completing craft projects and perform face painting
- Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
- Communicate events with clients and store team members
- Complete operational tasks including truck unload, merchandise duties, and maintaining store recovery standards
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
