Job Description

Delaware North Sportservice is a division of Delaware North, a global leader in hospitality and food service management. With over 100 years of legacy as a family-owned company, Delaware North operates in various industries including sports venues, national parks, casinos, restaurants, hotels, and retail. One of its flagship operations is at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, which is New England's largest sports and entertainment arena. TD Garden is not only the home of the NHL's Boston Bruins and the NBA's Boston Celtics, but it also hosts over 200 events annually, welcoming more than 3.5 million visitors each year. This dynamic and vibrant setting provides an exciting work atmosphere for all team members.

The company is currently hiring part-time Retail Supervisors to join the team at TD Garden. As a Retail Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing retail operations that directly serve thousands of guests during events. This position offers an hourly pay rate between $20.00 and $22.00, reflecting the importance and responsibility of the role. Working as a Retail Supervisor means you will be responsible for managing and training retail team members, ensuring the highest standards in customer service, merchandising, inventory management, and operational compliance.

In this role, you will monitor sales performance and collaborate with your team to meet and exceed revenue and service goals. Leadership is key, as you will coach and motivate retail associates to align with the company’s GuestPath service philosophy, promoting exceptional experiences for every guest. You will also assist with opening and closing procedures, ensure accurate sales transactions, and enforce company policies and safety standards to maintain a secure and efficient retail environment.

Maintaining merchandising standards such as product presentation, pricing accuracy, signage, and visual displays is essential to attract and retain customers. You'll manage inventory activities including restocking, merchandise transfers, receiving shipments, and conducting regular inventories, ensuring the store remains well-stocked and organized. Addressing guest concerns professionally and proactively resolving issues will be a fundamental part of your daily duties, helping to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Delaware North values the well-being and development of its team members. The company offers flexible work schedules, employee discounts, and weekly pay, along with comprehensive training and development opportunities to help you grow in your career. Whether you’re looking to build experience in retail management or enhance your leadership skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, this position provides a great opportunity within a prestigious and historic venue.

If you thrive in a lively, fast-paced setting and want to be a part of the game day atmosphere at one of the most iconic sports arenas in the country, the Retail Supervisor position at Delaware North Sportservice is an ideal fit. Join a diverse and inclusive team that is dedicated to delivering memorable guest experiences while supporting your personal and professional growth in a rewarding hospitality career.
