We are excited to offer the position of Retail Supervisor in Training at our Great Mall location. This full-time role starts at $23.00 per hour and includes a structured path for career progression with promotion opportunities every three months based on individual performance. The Retail Supervisor in Training plays a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of customer service and operational excellence that UNIQLO is known for. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this role serves as a pace setter and role model within the store, leading by example to ensure that all Sales Associates in their department exceed customer expectations.
The role involves a wide range of responsibilities including motivating team members to surpass sales targets, supervising store floor activities to ensure proper break coverage and customer service, and upholding brand standards across visual merchandising, cleanliness, cash management, and inventory control. The Supervisor in Training also plays a critical role in training and developing Sales Associates, especially in key areas such as fitting room and cash wrap standards. They are responsible for ensuring the merchandise is fully stocked and represented on the sales floor with complete size runs.
Additionally, the role requires a proactive approach to managing customer needs according to UNIQLO's service standards and fundamental principles, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience. The Retail Supervisor in Training also assists management in identifying and resolving store issues and supports special projects as needed. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to lead and develop a team, and flexibility to meet the business needs including availability during evenings and weekends.

Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- ability to train and develop a team with strong communication skills
- ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages
- ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the business needs, including evenings and weekends
- average 32 or more hours per week based on business seasonality
- limited restrictions on availability to three days with only one restriction permitted Friday-Sunday (religious exemptions considered)
- at least one time-based restriction of three permitted
- both days off must be within the same Monday to Sunday workweek
- must be available for minimum of a 5-day workweek
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- strong communication skills
- leadership ability to train and develop a team
- knowledge of product and brand preferred
- experience in retail supervision or management a plus
- ability to handle cash transactions and basic calculations
Job Duties
- Motivates their team to meet and exceed sales
- supervises the floor to monitor breaks and ensure coverage during peak times according to Daily Work Schedules
- ensures brand and operational standards (visual, cleanliness, cash management, inventory management, etc.) are consistently met
- ensures their team proactively manages customer needs and exceeds expectations according to the UNIQLO service standard, the UNIQLO Fundamental Principles and the 6 Standard Phrases
- trains and develops their team on fitting room and cash wrap standards and assists when needed in those zones
- manages inventory by ensuring all merchandise is represented and replenished on the floor in full size runs
- assists management to identify issues in the store
- trains their team on product and brand knowledge and ensures product knowledge is conveyed to customers
- follows all company policy and procedures and notifies management of any infractions
- assists with special projects as assigned by management
