As a Wild Fork Team Member, your role as a Retail Store Associate is vital in delivering a memorable experience to every guest. This position involves far more than just sales; it encompasses being a personal chef and friendly butcher with comprehensive product knowledge to recommend and advise customers about their favorite dishes or proteins. You will undergo extensive training to become a culinary expert, enabling you to share recipes and cooking tips that enhance customer satisfaction and promote the Wild Fork brand. Integral responsibilities include maintaining optimal inventory control to ensure product freshness and availability, replenishing stock items promptly, picking and packing online orders accurately, and managing the checkout process with a warm and friendly demeanor. This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to work in cold environments like walk-in freezers, and the capability to handle lifting up to 50 pounds.

Job Requirements

High school degree or GED preferred
One year of customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or restaurant
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to work with integrity in a team
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Availability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work in a cold environment
Basic math skills
Dependability and commitment

Job Qualifications

High school degree or GED preferred not required
One year of customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or restaurant is required
Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, by showing interest and carefully listening to their needs

Job Duties

Be a brand ambassador - enthusiastic and passionate about our quality products, educate the consumer on what Wild Fork Foods stands for
Become a product and culinary expert by giving total effort during training classes to provide great recipes and tips on how to cook our protein
Provide a butcher friendly shopping experience by personalizing every step of the way
Assist customers during the check-out process and deliver an experience to remember
Perform stocking duties such as lifting up to 50lb, rotating products, ordering, dusting, and cleaning store
Oversee daily price changes and manage cash register as required
Process customer e-commerce orders and oversee timely product hand out for deliveries
Work in an extremely cold environment - pulling racks, processing shipment, and performing monthly inventory in our walk-in freezer
Perform other related duties
