You will be responsible for modeling Lindt’s sales mission, guiding your team towards achieving key performance indicators such as sales conversion rates, average dollar sale, and units per transaction. Your commitment to the Lindt brand will be evident in your daily interactions and efforts to enhance customer experience and store presentation.

In addition to driving sales, the Shift Supervisor supports the Store Manager by assisting in staff development through training and coaching. This includes ensuring that all team members are equipped with solid product knowledge and confident sales techniques to represent the Lindt brand effectively. Operational responsibilities such as inventory control, cash management, and maintaining the store's cleanliness and compliance with company policies are also critical aspects of this role. The successful candidate should be a proactive, confident self-starter with the ability to delegate tasks and motivate others. The role requires availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the retail environment’s demands. Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Prior retail experience, preferably in a specialty retail environment
  • Proven sales background
  • Ability to take direction and effectively delegate and execute through others
  • Basic math and/or accounting skills
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and reach with arms
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Proven sales background
  • Ability to take direction and effectively delegate and execute through others
  • Basic math and/or accounting skills
  • Prior retail experience, preferably in a specialty retail environment
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and reach with arms
  • Associates Degree preferred
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Ensure store meets or exceeds weekly, monthly, annual sales plan
  • Model understanding and commitment to the store's sales mission
  • Assist with development of team members' commitment to sales results
  • Supervise staff to insure sales goals and external sales opportunities are achieved
  • Model Lindt standards through everyday activities
  • Monitor and escalate stock levels to Store Management
  • Support Store Manager with training sales staff
  • Train sales staff in accordance with company standards
  • Assist with training and developing staff sales techniques
  • Escalate issues to Store Management
  • Ensure store meets or exceeds company standards for operational controls and compliance
  • Manage inventory control and shrink
  • Manage cash including POS, paperwork, logs, policies and procedures
  • Comply with all Quality Assurance policies and procedures
  • Maintain store cleanliness
