Job Requirements
- flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules in English
- capable of standing for at least two consecutive hours
- ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- able to perform stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and reaching
- close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment required
- comfortable using technology such as cash registers and handheld devices
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- passion for fashion and current trends
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- familiarity with electronic devices and point-of-sale systems
- ability to work effectively in a team
- customer-focused mindset
Job Duties
- greet and engage customers with warmth and genuine conversations
- assist customers in expressing personal style and provide product knowledge
- actively circulate the sales floor and support fitting room operations
- maintain merchandise standards and ensure sales floor and fitting rooms are clean and organized
- promote Macy's loyalty programs and assist customers with credit accounts
- meet and strive to exceed daily sales goals
- collaborate with colleagues to support a positive team environment
