This job opportunity is for a Retail Sales Supervisor, a temporary position running from August 23, 2026, to September 13, 2026, with an hourly wage range of $19.00 to $20.00. The Retail Sales Supervisor plays a critical role in the daily operations of retail stores by coordinating the actions of Sales Associates and General Utility Workers. This position involves assigning daily tasks, ensuring the store is thoroughly prepared to welcome guests, and maintaining a high standard of customer service delivery. Supervisors set an example by surpassing expectations, handling guest concerns with professionalism and efficiency, and maintaining a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere even in the absence of on-site management.
The role requires strong leadership skills to conduct pre-shift meetings, serve as a knowledgeable concierge about the store and local area, and train staff members effectively to build a customer-service oriented team. Responsibilities also include inventory management, ordering merchandise, managing cash and sales reporting, performing monthly safety inspections, and assisting with employee scheduling and payroll coordination. The ideal candidate will be flexible with scheduling, able to work weekends and holidays as required, and proficient in common office software such as Microsoft Excel and point of sale (POS) systems.

Job Requirements
- Must be of legal age to work with alcohol
- must provide proof of responsible alcohol training and certification where applicable
- must be flexible and willing to work a rotational schedule with days off including weekends and holidays
- must be fluent in spoken and written native language
- must be computer literate in MS Office programs
- must be able to operate necessary equipment such as photocopier, vacuum cleaner, calculator, printer, telephone, computer, and POS system
- must maintain a high level of professionalism and grooming

Job Qualifications
- Previous retail experience preferred
- mathematical skills required for sales reports and audits
- legal age to work with alcohol
- certification in responsible alcohol training where applicable
- flexibility to work rotational shifts including weekends and holidays
- fluent in native language both spoken and written
- computer literate with knowledge of MS Office
- ability to operate equipment such as photocopier, vacuum cleaner, calculator, printer, telephone, computer and POS system

Job Duties
- Perform all Sales Associate and General Utility Worker duties
- hold pre-shift meetings to communicate the day’s tasks and information
- act as concierge by being knowledgeable about surrounding areas
- greet all guests entering the store
- train Sales Associates and General Utility Workers in customer service skills
- manage store operations smoothly in the absence of management
- handle customer complaints promptly and professionally
- maintain inventory and order merchandise
- conduct safety inspections and incident reporting
- ensure cleanliness and a pleasant atmosphere
- compile daily sales data and balance cash
