Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical capability to stand continuously, walk frequently, lift and carry weights up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Customer service orientation
- Ability to use POS and general office equipment
- Adherence to safety policies and practices
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 6-12 months of retail cashier and/or stocking experience preferred
- Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred
- Desire and ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- Ability to assist other employees and work within a team
- Basic mathematical aptitude and logical thinking skills
- Motivated and self-driven with ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Proficiency with basic computer skills and cash handling experience
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Ensure all customers have an impeccable CHEF'STORE experience by developing and maximizing relationships with customers
- Perform sales and cash functions in the POS system efficiently and accurately
- Conduct cart-to-cart transfer inspections at checkout including product tampering checks
- Verify purchase receipts and cart contents as receipt checker
- Perform store opening and closing functions at the front end
- Assist in receiving inventory shipments and stocking shelves neatly with proper rotation and quality audits
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the sales floor, front end, restrooms, parking lot, and cart corrals
