The role available is for a Part-Time Front End Associate working AM shifts, specifically from Friday through Sunday, totaling 20 to 30 hours weekly during early morning hours. The pay for this position starts at $19.66 per hour. This role is critical in ensuring that all customers have an impeccable shopping experience. The Front End Associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to smooth store operations and customer satisfaction. The job includes handling sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems, performing cart transfers, receipt checking, and executing opening or closing procedures for the front end.

Additionally, the associate will assist with sales floor management, including stocking shelves, receiving inventory shipments, and maintaining merchandise in an orderly fashion with proper labeling and rotation adhering to FIFO (First In, First Out) standards. They are also expected to engage with customers proactively to ensure product availability and to offer information about additional store services. Maintaining store cleanliness, safety, and a welcoming environment are fundamental aspects of the role, which includes duties such as cleaning the sales floor, restrooms, parking lot, and managing shopping carts.

The work environment is in an active retail store setting, exposed to varying temperatures and occasional inclement weather due to outdoor activities such as shopping cart retrieval. The position requires physical stamina for continuous standing and walking, frequent lifting and carrying of products ranging from light to heavy weights, and the ability to use equipment like pallet jacks and reach trucks.

This position demands a candidate who has at least 6-12 months of retail cashier or stocking experience, with a preference for those with over a year of customer service and retail selling experience. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, adaptable, capable of prioritizing tasks, and offering excellent customer service. Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general office equipment are also important for managing inventory and administrative duties.
