The CHEF'STORE Sales Associate position at US Foods is a part-time, dynamic role designed to enhance customer experiences by maintaining superior service standards in a retail store environment. With working hours ranging between 20 to 30 hours per week, this position involves a mix of duties including cashier responsibilities, stocking merchandise, and customer service tasks. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier or stocking experience required
  • Ability to lift frequently 40-80 pounds
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ensure all customers have an impeccable CHEF'STORE experience by developing and maximizing relationships with customers
  • Perform sales and cash functions at POS efficiently and accurately including scanning merchandise and weighing products
  • Transfer products at checkout with visual inspection for tampering
  • Verify cart content versus purchases as a receipt checker
  • Perform store opening and closing functions at front end
  • Increase sales and manage shrinkage on sales floor
  • Assist in receiving inventory shipments, stocking shelves, and maintaining product rotation and quality audits
  • Label merchandise properly including catch weight and PLU tags
  • Replenish sales floor daily using FIFO stocking method
  • Utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of store and parking lot
  • Gather and maintain carts
  • Assist with price changes and inventory cycle counts
  • Participate in special store events and sales floor resets
  • Other duties as assigned by Store Management
